How a Coffee Bean Changes the Taste of Your Coffee
Coffee beans taste different due to the varying lipids and acids that are formed during their growth period. A bean's chemical composition is influenced by the altitude it's grown in, rainfall, soil it's been planted in, method of processing, roasting level, bean varietal and the brewing process. There are many nuances that impact how a cup of coffee tastes.
Most notable one and one that can be easily influenced by desires is roasting. Roasting brings out the aroma and flavor that is locked inside the green coffee beans. Beans are stored green, a state in which they can be kept without loss of quality or taste. A green bean has none of the characteristics of a roasted bean. I personally enjoy my coffee bean fully roasted as it also gives me a kick in the morning to get on with my day.
